As the largest single gift in our organization’s history, this historic partnership completely underwrites the total cost of tuition, travel, room, and board for our Summer Programs. Because of their extraordinary generosity, financial barriers will no longer stand in the way of our scholars accessing world-class academic and personal enrichment.

Why the Summer Program Matters
The Summer Program is the absolute cornerstone of the three-year MMH model. For many of our sophomores and juniors, this experience marks their very first time leaving Texas or stepping onto a major university campus.
Away at top-tier institutions, our students gain invaluable collegiate experience. They live in dorms, navigate rigorous college-level coursework, and preview the social and cultural dynamics of university life. Furthermore, it gives them the concrete experiences, self-confidence, and perspective they need to write compelling college application essays when they return.
