Finance Lead

Role Title: Finance Lead

Reports to: Executive Director

Team: Extended Leadership Team

Time Commitment: 5 hrs per week (may be up to 10 hrs/week during high work load periods)

Summary & Responsibilities

The Finance Lead will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will support finance, business planning, and budgeting. This is a tremendous opportunity for a finance and accounting leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a mission-driven organization. Responsibilities include: 

  • Overseeing financial planning and budgeting 

  • Analyzing and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner and clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements to leadership team

  • Preparing financial reporting materials for all donor segments, and oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting.

  • Participating and leading annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the ED

  • Administering and reviewing all financial plans and budget

  • Monitoring progress and changes

  • Keeping senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status

  • Managing organizational cash flow and forecasting, serving as book-keeper for the organization
